Networking Events
We have had many coordinated events with NAWIC (National Association of Women In Construction). As an organization, we feel it is important to network with professionals in our industry. We have also had Company dinners, which allow our members to network with industry professionals and gain insight into certain companies and their internship opportunities. These events not only allow members to advance their own careers but also help pave the way for other women to succeed in this industry.
Company Dinners
Company Dinners allow our members to network with industry professionals in a more relaxed and fun atmosphere and open doors to new opportunities, such as internships, in an often male dominated Industry. By connecting with experienced peers, leaders, and mentors, CAWIC members can gain valuable insights, advice, and support, empowering them to navigate challenges and grow in their careers.
Jobsite Tours
Job site tours are a great way for our members to experience an active job and get a behind-the-scenes look at how certain companies operate. This is a great way for our members to ask questions and gain knowledge about the construction industry. It also builds confidence for those who have never set foot on a jobsite before.
